Healthy buildings sit at the intersection of science, design, and lived experience.

Our expertise lies in understanding how buildings truly perform for the people inside them, not just in terms of energy or efficiency, but in health, comfort, cognition, and long-term wellbeing.

We work across the full building lifecycle, translating research and performance data into clear strategies that architects, developers, and operators can act on. By bridging sustainability and human health, we help shift buildings from compliance-driven outcomes to environments that actively support people.

OUR FOUNDERS

Benazir Noor Mohamed

Benazir brings over a decade of distinguished practice in the built environment, spanning design, execution, and performance of complex, real-world projects. Mentored by Pritzker Laureate B.V. Doshi and serving on the advisory board of the International WELL Building Institute, she is a passionate advocate for human-centric, health-forward architecture. Her expertise lies in harmonising visionary design intent with operational rigor, ensuring that wellbeing-driven strategies are both measurable and enduring. Benazir’s work is deeply informed by both practice and scholarship, honed through advanced studies at University College London.

Pearl Doshi

Pearl’s work is rooted in the belief that buildings should extend human longevity, happiness, and quality of life. With academic training from UC Berkeley and advanced studies in Health, Wellbeing, and Sustainable Buildings at University College of London, her approach combines environmental science, design thinking, and systems-level strategy. Pearl brings a research-driven perspective to translating wellbeing theory into practical building solutions.

A Shared Vision

Pearl and Benazir met at University College London, united by a shared conviction: that buildings are one of the most powerful and overlooked tools for improving public health. Together, they founded the consultancy to advocate for healthier indoor environments through evidence, integrity, and thoughtful design.
